Café 'n Chocolat is owned by Suzanne Van den Heuvel - Kucera, who has entertained the idea of opening her own Belgian Style Sandwich Shop for nearly 18 years.

Suzanne moved to the United States In 1986, She owned a bakery and coffee shop in Belgium, called Kramikske. (small raisin bread)

Suzanne was an advertising executive for the Wall Street Journal and AutoMart, before taking the big step of going into business for herself again.

Finally after a lot of research and planning, she located this place, and turned a vacant store into a little Belgian Eatery.

Finding an appropriate name was a difficult decision. Suzanne and Mieke (her daughter) brainstormed for months.

It had to be short, easy, and most of all, the name had to explain what this place was all about.

Not Everyone agreed, but Café 'n Chocolat it is!
